Plus, when your shoes or bag are completely see-through, it adds a whole new level to the phrase, “What you see you is what you get”. You have to love transparency, right?

Both Kim Kardashian West and Sofia Richie have recently been seen rocking these denim thigh high boots while out and about in LA and New York City. Kim has been wearing a light wash of the denim shoes while Sofia opted for the darker version. I have to admit that I am in LOVE with these boots. We all know about my obsession with jeans and these denim beauties are working in the all the right ways for me. Both ladies have worn these boots with tighter dresses and have also utilized the boots to pull off the ever-popular “lampshading” trend.

These particular shoes are called the Frances Cuissard boots from the Gianvito Rossi Spring/Summer 2016 collection. Though the boots have sold out on the Gianvito Rossi site, select sizes can be purchased at Barney’s.  These awesome shoes were definitely hard to track down, but I think it is safe to say that even if you cannot get your hands on these exact ones, denim thigh highs are about to be the hottest trend in fashion.

I know what you’re thinking. “Who in her right mind wears velvet in the summer?”. Well, I am about to challenge you to do just that. I’m not encouraging you to step out in the sweltering heat in a head-to-toe velvet suit. I am, however, saying that a velvet accent here and there could be a nice refresher to your summer wardrobe.
