The other night I decided to watch the 1993 movie Sliver starring Sharon Stone. In one scene in the film, Sharon’s character is out to lunch for a business meeting. This scene is so prominent in my memory because Sharon looked so effortlessly striking in her power suit, which she accessorized with an amazing cameo velvet choker. I decided in that moment that cameo necklaces and chokers will definitely be the next big trend in jewelry. This season, designers, brands and stylists have been taking so many cues from 90s fashion and I predict that cameo necklaces will make their mark again in editorial and runway very soon.
