Now, before you say anything, I am fully aware that this is not the most “wearable” outfit. The print is very bold, the colors are stark and the *ahem* drop-crotch is not the most figure-flattering. I certainly got a lot of curious looks while shooting this look. HOWEVER, the moment I saw this Clover Canyon matching set, I knew I had to get my hands on it! Yes, this outfit is ostentatious and yes it’s a bit intimidating, but I think it can be very refreshing and energizing to take risks with one’s personal style. Sometimes it’s fun to intentionally stand out in the crowd and embrace the notion that all eyes are on you…on a day other than Halloween 🙂 Here’s to taking chances!

I do not think it should come as a surprise to anyone that I am a huge fan of Rihanna. Not only is her music great, but her sense of style easily makes her a fashion icon in my eyes. I have admired her daring wardrobe choices for years. One of Rihanna’s looks that I am currently obsessed with is this outfit (seen here), which she wore to Stella McCartney’s fashion show during Paris Fashion Week 2014. I have done my very best to recreate this look with some similar green pieces.
